About me
I am a Consultant Neurologist with a specialist interest in Memory Disorders and Dementias. I completed my medical degree from the Medical College of St Bartholomews Hospital in 1990. My specialist experience in Memory Disorders and Dementias was gained in Cambridge from 1995 to 1999 and in San Francisco from 1999 to 2000. I have been running Memory Clinics at Charing Cross Hospital in London since 2005 and specialise in early diagnosis and treatment of Alzheimer's Disease and other dementias. I run a team of clinicians running clinical trials for new cutting edge treatments for dementias at Charing Cross Hospital and have pioneered the use of new diagnostic tests such as amyloid PET scans. I was the first clinician in the UK to use these scans for my patients.
