About me
Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon at Mid Cheshire Hospital NHS Trust with special interest in colorectal & hernia surgery.
I am a National Trainer for Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery (LAPCO) and Minimally Invasive Haemorrhoidal Surgery (THD Procedure).
I am a Senior Lecturer at Edge Hill University and Educational Supervisor.
I specialise in the management of benign and malignant colorectal conditions, colon cancer, key hole surgery, bowel cancer screening, surgery for gall bladder stone, cholecystectomy. Surgery for inguinal and abdominal hernias. Sports hernia surgery. Treatment of anal fistula, anal fissure and anal warts. Skin lesions, nevus and sebaceous cyst excision. Treatment of ingrowing toe nails. Upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy, bowel screening, colonoscopy, gastroscopy and flexible sigmoidoscopy.
I am appraiser for consultants at the Trust and member of Clinical Excellence Award committee.
