I have been a Consultant for almost 18 years and have been the ENT Lead for the Morecambe Bay Trust for the last 7 years. I am also the Lead for the Head and Neck cancer fragility services and the 'Better Care Together' Lead for ENT. I am the editor for the Morecambe Bay Journal and sits on the local negotiating committee as BMA member. I am a full member of AoME. I have completed the PG Cert from Edge Hill with credits and remain the educational supervisor to the junior doctors. I am also a member of the North West surgical training committee in ENT. I am heavily involved with undergraduate teaching and training in ENT. I am the DOHNS examiner as well as the Royal College assessor and examiner for the MRCS. I participate in the GMC OSCE writing day and single best answer writing events. I am honorary lecturer at Lancaster University and honorary teacher at Liverpool University.
I have completed the NHS Academy Ready Now programme and I am the editor of the Morecambe Bay Journal as well as guest editor for Current Advances in Otorhinolaryngology Disease and Therapy and International Member of Editorial Board of JDUHS.
