About me

Paul is currently the clinic lead for the Guy's and St Thomas' Plastics department. He has been a consultant plastic and reconstruction surgeon at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Trust for over 10 years. Prior to his appointment he completed his training on the Pan Thames plastic surgery training scheme. He spent the last year of his training as a microsurgical fellow at the MD Anderson Cancer Centre (the world's leading cancer centre) in Houston, USA.
He now specialises in cancer reconstruction including breast cancer; cancer of the skin and the head and neck region; gynaecological and colorectal cancer and limb cancer.
His special interest is microsurgery and he has a large experience of autologous (free flap) breast reconstruction. He also manages patients with lymphoedema using 'supermicro' surgery techniques.
He also undertakes a wide range of cosmetic breast procedures and body contour surgery (liposuction, abdominoplasty and post weight loss surgery).
He currently runs the teaching programme for the plastic surgery trainees at Guy's and St Thomas' Trust and is head of the plastic surgery department audit programme.
