About me

After completing her undergraduate training at the University Hospital of Wales, Amelia was a Junior Physiotherapist at St Mary's, Paddington. She then moved to the Chelsea and Westminster in 2004. She has had a number of different roles there including a team lead position, following-up of preterm babies within a specialist MDT clinic and within a specialist clubfoot service.

Amelia took a career break to volunteer in Malawi. Whilst there she was supporting carers to look after babies and children with developmental problems. She also worked at Beit-CURE International Childrens Hospital supporting babies with their clubfoot treatment and children in their rehabilitation post complex orthopaedic surgery.

Amelia is known for her emphasis on listening to patients and explaining clearly to children and parents alike their diagnosis, prognosis and treatment in such a way as to ensure that they are able to engage in their rehab plan with confidence.

She works closely with paediatricians and orthopaedic surgeons to ensure that treatment is thorough, supported and clinical excellence is achieved.

She continues to work part time in the NHS alongside her private practice.

Foetal moulding conditions such as plagiocephaly, torticollis, preferential head turn; musculoskeletal joint pain e.g. back pain, knee injuries, foot and ankle problems; post-operative rehabilitation including trauma and complex surgery; Rheumatological conditions e.g. JIA; Paediatric Chronic Pain; Postural Pilates; Developmental conditions.
