About me
Mr Jennings uses state of the art techniques to improve accuracy and outcomes and is a leading surgeon in the field of Robotic Assisted Knee Surgery using the CORI surgical system from Smith & Nephew. He teaches the Robotic surgery technique to surgeons Nationally and Internationally.
Mr Simon Jennings is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, with a special interest in knee and hip surgery and sports injuries. He consults in Central London and North-West London.
His aim is to provide a service which allows rapid assessment, diagnosis, and management of knee and hip conditions.
He will explore all modalities of treatment and select a path to recovery that is tailored to the patient's needs, aiming to return the patient to full function as soon as possible.
He is the lead for enhanced recovery for hip and knee replacement surgery at LNWH NHS Trust.
He trained at St Bartholomew's Hospital, where he qualified in 1992 and was subsequently appointed Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at London North West Hospitals NHS trust in 2005. He has always had an interest in sport and sports injuries and throughout his career he has worked as a doctor for elite athletes in Rugby Union (Harlequins), Rugby League (London Crusaders / London Broncos / Harlequins RL) and the Great Britain Judo Team.
