About me
Mr Jennings is a leading expert in complex hip and knee surgery. He was appointed as a Consultant at the London Northwest University Healthcare NHS Trust in 2005 and has established himself as a leader in providing world class care in the management of hip and knee conditions. He helped pioneer the introduction of robotic assisted knee surgery into the UK in 2018 and is now championing its use in hip surgery. He has become a well-respected world expert in both these robotic techniques, using the CORI robotic system, and he teaches and lectures surgeons both nationally and internationally.
Mr Jennings qualified at St Bartholomew's Hospital in 1992 and completed his Higher Surgical Training on the University College Hospital rotation in North Central London in 2004, which included a year as a Knee Surgery Fellow at the Knee Surgery Unit at the Wellington Hospital and a further year of higher training at The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore.
Mr Jennings' has also established himself as a leading authority in sports injuries and was awarded the Diploma in Sports Medicine in 1998. He was a doctor with professional rugby teams for many years, including the London Broncos in Rugby League and Super League, and Harlequins in the Rugby Premiership, both in domestic and international competitions. Alongside this, he doctored for the Great British Judo Team, providing medical support for competitions such as the Judo World Championships and the European Championships.
His aim is to provide a service which allows rapid assessment, diagnosis, and management of knee and hip conditions.
He will explore all modalities of treatment and select a path to recovery that is tailored to the patient's needs, aiming to return the patient to full function as soon as possible.
