About me
I have been a Consultant Surgeon at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh since 2003 and have a specialist interest in laparoscopic (keyhole surgery), treatment of gallstones and hernia repair. I also undertake laparoscopic biliary and pancreatic surgery and laparoscopic splenectomy. I am also a Consultant liver, kidney and pancreas transplant surgeon and established laparoscopic nephrectomy for kidney transplantation in Edinburgh and established the Scottish Islet Cell Transplant Programme for diabetes.
