About me

Wendy is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist, Systemic Psychotherapist (Family Therapist) and EMDR practitioner

Wendy is experienced in working with adults, adolescents and children. As well as with individuals, couples and family groups, on a wide range of issues such as relationship breakdown, depression, anger and stress management, phobia's, panic attacks, anxiety, post traumatic stress disorder, trauma, post abuse and difficulties with child and adolescent behaviour. Using a range of evidence based practice.

Wendy worked as part of the NHS prior to starting independent practise in 2006.

Wendy has presented workshops at national conferences on a range of subjects including brief therapy, attachment and trauma.

Alongside her own private clients, Wendy takes a lead role in various local and national projects. Wendy also takes referrals from local authorities for difficulties relating to adoption and funded through the adoption support fund
