About me

Qualified in Medicine from Cambridge
(Downing College and New Addenbrooke's Hospital) and trained in general surgery prior to neurosurgical training in London, Glasgow and Edinburgh, added to the principle list as a Consultant Neurosurgeon in 2002.

Previously gained BSc in Psychology from University College London, followed by a PhD at the Institute of Psychiatry.

Consultant Neurosurgeon in Norway 2002-6, then Charing Cross and Kings College Hospital until 2009 when I became fully independent and still continue with an nhs practice.

My neurosurgical interest is in treating all spine, including new and minimally invasive techniques with and without instrumentation.

Interests include:
Whole spine, trauma and degenerate spine, back and neck pain, including injection treatment.
Arm pain/brachalgia and neck pain.
Leg pain/sciatica and back pain.
Canal stenosis, spinal claudication.
Myelopathy.
Peripheral nerve entrapment e.g. carpal tunnel syndrome and ulnar nerve entrapment.
