About me
Mrs Irene Elias Is a widely-experienced and enthusiastic Podiatrist, having qualified from the University of Central England in 2001 with First Class Honours in Podiatry.
Since then she has worked both in the NHS and in private hospitals, and she also runs a long-established private practice in Edgbaston, Birmingham, treating adults and children with general lower limb problems and sports injuries.
Areas of interest
INGROWING TOE NAILS - both conservative treatment, and nail surgery with local anaesthetic;
BIOMECHANICAL ASSESSMENT AND GAIT ANALYSIS - for the diagnosis of lower limb conditions such as:
hip pain; leg-length discrepancy; knee pain; anterior tibial pain; (shin splints) achilles tendonitis; heel pain; plantar fasciitis; arch pain; metatarsalgia (forefoot pain); hallux valgus (bunions) over-pronation; (flat feet).
Sports injuries;

for treatment of the above problems and for generalised foot pain or deformity.
