About me
Peter Griffiths
Aches and pains, even minor ones, can have a major impact on both our physical and mental well-being if left untreated. Osteopathic treatment aims to alleviate pain and discomfort by trying to address the root cause of issues. I can work alongside other core medical treatments you may be receiving or provide stand-alone care for you.
Based in Bookham, Surrey I have been running my practice for 23 years. Please do get in touch if you would like an informal discussion as to whether the treatments I provide could be helpful for you.
About me
I am a Registered Osteopath with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) having qualified from the British School of Osteopathy (now the University College of Osteopathy). The GOsC plays an important role in regulating the profession by ensuring that all registered osteopaths meet the required standards through a process of continued learning and skills development.
I have a keen interest in understanding the factors that contribute to optimum physical performance and well being stemming from my first degree in Psychology and Sports Science at the University of Birmingham.
My passion for sport, both as a participant and as having been a coach, supports my understanding of sport related injuries and my desire to help the body work at its very best.
During my osteopathy training I was awarded the Technique prize at my graduation.
I have DBS clearance
