Started by Penny Porter, a former International Swimmer and British Record Holder, and a familiar face in the City of Bristol, having been First Team Physiotherapist at Bristol Rugby Club, before going on to work for several national teams, including England Rugby.

Based in Henbury, Bristol, Penny Porter Physiotherapy has a team of physiotherapists on hand who are all highly qualified, with extensive experience of treating patients in all sectors including elite sports, NHS hospitals and private practice.

They truly are experts in their field and are all fully qualified Physiotherapists, each registered with the Health Care Professions Council and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. They are currently consultants to the English Institute of Sport, British Swimming Teams, England Rugby Teams, British University Sports Teams, and to British Ice Skating, and have previously worked with other National teams, including England Tennis, England Volleyball and British Water Polo. Our Physiotherapy Centre, located on Dragons Well Road, in Henbury, Bristol, offers four treatment rooms, a rehabilitation gymnasium and a large Hydrotherapy / Endless Pool. It is conveniently located, with good access to Bristol City Centre and the motorways, with parking readily available.

We also have a clinic at the David Lloyd Club in Westbury on Trym, with impressive gym and rehabilitation facilities.

We offer Physiotherapy, treating musculoskeletal injuries, neck and back pain, occupational injuries. Hydrotherapy, Pilates, Acupuncture, Sports Massage, Post surgical rehabilitation, Running & Swimming Analysis. Ante and Post natal Physiotherapy.

Orthotics: we have an in house orthotist, who is able to make custom made orthotics and to fit braces.
