About me
Professor Patel graduated from Cambridge University in 1993 and trained in cardiology in Bristol and Birmingham. He was appointed to his first consultant post at Sandwell and West Birmingham Trust in 2005 and then moved to Good Hope Hospital (University Hospitals Birmingham) in Sutton Coldfield in 2013-2019. In 2019 he moved to University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire where he practised cardiology and was also Chief Medical Officer. He moved to University hospitals Birmingham in 2024 where he is Consultant Cardiologist and Chief Medical Officer.
