About me
Sam Singh is a highly respected Foot and Ankle specialist based in London and Kent, well regarded for his expertise in treating a wide range of conditions, including bunions, hammertoes, Achilles disorders, ankle pain and arthritis, sports injuries, plantar fasciitis, and Morton's neuroma. He offers the latest proven techniques, including minimally invasive foot surgery, to provide patients with the best possible results.
After graduating from Cambridge University and training in Orthopaedic Surgery in London, Mr Singh completed his training in Boston, Massachusetts. To date, he is the only British surgeon to have been awarded Harvard University's prestigious Foot and Ankle Surgery fellowship.
For 17 years, he served as Lead Foot and Ankle Surgeon at Guy's and St Thomas', one of London's most respected teaching hospitals. During his tenure, he founded a Foot and Ankle NHS fellowship programme, training 15 consultants in not only his technical expertise but also the importance of compassion and empathy in clinical practice.
As demand for his services in private practice grew, he shifted to operating fully in private practice, where he continues to provide the same high level of patient care. His approach is hands-on, ensuring patients receive swift, effective treatment by personally assisting them at every stage, whether by organising a convenient scan, arranging physiotherapy with a best-fit provider or offering injection treatment in clinic on the day. His commitment to accessible, high-quality care with transparent, compliant pricing makes him a Platinum BUPA provider.
His patients appreciate not only his clinical skill but also his reassuring, down-to-earth manner, which is reflected in the volume of positive feedback he receives, to date including over 800 recommendations on Doctify and nearly 500 on PHIN (Private Healthcare Information Network), where his surgical outcome data is openly published. His extensive experience in treating both common and rare Foot and Ankle conditions allows for highly accurate, prompt diagnoses and tailored treatment plans.
Beyond clinical practice, Mr Singh is dedicated to patient education. He has served as Senior Editor for NHS Choices on bunions and Morton's neuroma. He also regularly shares insights via academic and mainstream media and hosts popular podcasts that help patients better understand their treatment options. His balanced discussion on conservative versus surgical management of Achilles tendon rupture has gained international recognition for its unique, honest perspective.
Supported by his dedicated team, Mr Singh ensures that every patient benefits from expert care, clear communication, and a smooth treatment journey at every step.
