About me

Mr. Mohammad Iqbal is a highly experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in hip and knee surgery. He has been a full-time NHS Consultant in Trauma & Orthopaedics since 1998 and has been serving patients at Walsall Manor Acute NHS Healthcare Trust since 2000. With a strong focus on delivering expert care, Mr. Iqbal offers a comprehensive range of treatments, including robotic-assisted hip and knee replacements, total and partial arthroplasty, and advanced knee sports injury procedures such as cruciate ligament repair and reconstruction, cartilage restoration, and instability surgery.

For selected cases of osteoarthritis and joint instability, Mr. Iqbal also provides high tibial and distal femoral osteotomies, working closely with a dedicated team of physiotherapists and radiologists to ensure the best possible outcomes for his patients. His patient-centered approach, combined with cutting-edge surgical techniques, helps individuals regain mobility and improve their quality of life.

Mr. Iqbal lives in the Midlands with his wife and two children. Outside of his clinical work, he is passionate about advancing orthopaedic care and supporting patients throughout their treatment journey.
