About me

Nick Cullen is the lead consultant in the Foot & Ankle unit at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Trust, Stanmore, appointed in 2005. The Foot & Ankle Unit at the RNOH is a tertiary referral centre, treating many of the complex foot & ankle cases that are referred from hospitals throughout England.
Nick has widespread experience in treating the full spectrum of foot and ankle disorders including complex deformity. He treats many sports injuries and enjoys treating everyone from premiership professional footballers, international rugby players and athletes to the social sportsman and dedicated weekend warrior.
Nicks practice includes arthroscopy joint replacement surgery and Hallux valgus.
He prefers a holistic approach which may include input from dedicated podiatrists, physiotherapists and osteopaths.
Nick is actively involved in the training of Specialist GP's and higher surgical trainees on the London Orthopaedic rotations, he is a co-convener the renowned Stanmore Foot course, a programme that promotes foot and ankle surgery nationally. He lectures nationally and internationally. He has published a number of papers on foot and ankle surgery and he has an ongoing interest in research within the department. He is a member of the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society.
