Research interests
My research interests include understanding forensic risk in personality disorder, improving access for difficult-to-engage patients, medication adherence, training of mental health professionals and service development. I have published widely and presented papers on these topics nationally and internationally.
Experience as Training Programme Director in Psychotherapy and Regional Psychotherapy Representative, during which I co-ordinated and ensured high standards of learning experience for medical students, trainees in psychiatry and higher trainees in psychotherapy.
I led in the development and evaluation of the Northern Network in Personality Disorder Users Group.
Personal interests
Represented senior first teams in rugby and cricket at school and university. Real tennis, tennis, skiing, mountain climbing. Travelled wideley and held exhibitions of photographic portfolio.
Associate Member of Marylebone Cricket Club (Lord’s).
