About us
My name is John Platts and I qualified as a chartered physiotherapist in 1995, having spent most of that time working in private practice and elite sport, but spending my initial years in the NHS in Tyneside.
Today, I work with people from all backgrounds with all levels of injury.
My aim is always the same, to provide people with friendly professional treatment drawing on many years spent treating people with musculoskeletal injuries.
Over the past 19 years I have worked in various sports settings including elite international sport, having worked for several years with team GB and the England Amateur Boxing team traveling globally to international and national tournaments.
Over the past few years I am working increasingly in the equestrian and athletics field with individuals of all levels of ability.
My clinic is not just about treating sports people, everyone is made very welcome.
