About me

I am a Chartered Physiotherapist who has been working in the National Health Service (N.H.S) for the last twenty years. I set up my private practice in Musculoskeletal and Sports Injury physiotherapy back in 2004 and have now been in private practice for 13 years.

My physiotherapy experience has been varied. It has included treatment and rehabilitation work with the Orthopaedic Consultants at The Freeman Hospital as well as the Newcastle General Hospital and the Washington Spire Private Hospital. I work with and rehabilitate patients who have sustained a wide variety of injuries from sports injuries, orthopaedic and soft tissue trauma, spinal and neck injuries as well as a variety of other injuries to the musculoskeletal system.

I work in my private practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays based within The Sound in Mind and Body Health Club and I am passionate about what I do. I also believe that regular exercise is very important in maintaining a healthy life style and in preventing injuries and strains.
The beauty of receiving your physiotherapy with Bodyfit Physiotherapy Clinic is that the clinic is based in a boutique health club offering excellent gymnasium and dance studio facilities that would be available for you as part of your treatment plan so that you can achieve your goals which is our highest priority. This is a unique facility that most other private practices in the area cannot offer or do not have access to.

I am interested in a variety of sports especially golf and rugby as well as hiking in the hills.

If you have any questions with regards to the Bodyfit Physiotherapy Service available here at Sound Mind and Body Health Club please do not hesitate to ring me on 07754826884.
