About me

My objectives are to help people improve the quality of their life by diagnosing musculo-skeletal pain and providing treatment, excercise programmes and self management strategies. Where possible I aim to get rid of pain and restore function and prevent re-occurance by identifing potential aggravating factors, correcting postural and muscular imbalances, liaising with coaches to correct sporting techniques and providing comprehensive exercise plans. If there are underlying conditions which cannot be changed, I will do the best I can to relieve pain, improve function and help people maintain the best function and independence they can by teaching self-management. I use a variety of treatments including electrotherapy; acupuncture; mobilisation/manipulation; sports massage and exercise based therapy. I have a wealth of experience in treating a wide variety of conditions and have treated professional athletes in various sporting arenas, including the Manchester Commonwealth Games and Race Courses.
