About us
Westerhill Physiotherapy was established in 1997. The clinic is situated in a purpose built barn, with 2 clinic rooms and a bright waiting room. There is a gym space upstairs and pool in the same building. The practice prides itself on specific individual treatments designed for each patient. Listening to the problem and finding and explaining a solution. The team of physiotherapists are extremely experienced, and enjoy continuing to update their knowledge.
Areas of interest
Treatment of Spinal pain, with specific interest in promoting normal movement, exercise and rehabilitation; Sports Injury rehabilitation; Rehabilitation after orthopaedic surgery; Treatment of joint and muscular pain; Advice on postural control and self management strategies; Treatment for strength and stability, including Pilates.
The clinic is now able to provide extracorporeal shockwave therapy. This treatment has been found to be helpful in the treatment of tendon pathologies such as Achilles tendinopathy, tennis elbow, plantar fasciitis as well as many more.
