About us
Physio-Works was first established in the Early 2000's. The practice has been going for over 20 years. Physio-Works became a limited company in 2011 with a move to the current Wybers Wood practice on St Nicholas Drive.
Physio-Works in an Independent practice to Grimsby and has been serving the population of Grimsby, Cleethorpes, Immingham and Killingholme (some travelling even further from Lincoln/Scunthorpe/Bridlington on occassion) for over 20 years.
Physio-Works has parking dedicated via the driveway (enough to accommodate 2/3 cars) an access ramp at the front entrance with several spacious clinic rooms and a dedicated waiting room. Reception is covered daily by our fabulous reception team.
All of our physiotherapists are senior MSK professionals holding post graduate qualifications varying from mobilisation techniques to pain management, strength and conditioning courses, many more.
Our Team;
Director - Josh Lond - PH113114
Josh is a Chartered Physiotherapist who graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with first class honours. He also holds respected diplomas in sports massage and exercise instruction for specialist conditions, which he frequently uses in his treatment sessions.
On qualifying, Josh has worked in the NHS and private sector gaining experience in all Physio specialist disciplines including; inpatient/outpatient, community, neurological, respiratory and musculoskeletal care. Josh has been specialised in MSK medicine for over 7 years.
Josh prides himself on empowering his clients through strong foundations of education and specialist advice, to enable complete understanding of their problem. He finds hands-on assessment and treatment imperative to his clinical reasoning and diagnosis.
He has a large amount of experience dealing with a varied musculoskeletal caseload comprising of; fractures, tendinopathy, soft tissue injury, arthritis management, spinal and chronic pain.
Josh has spent time building connections with local consultants such as neuro-surgeons, orthopaedic surgeons, GP's and Allied Health professionals to provide a holistic package of care to all clients.
Director - Louis Varley - PH105148
Louis graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a first class honours degree in Physiotherapy in 2014. Since graduating Louis has gained a broad knowledge of Physiotherapy by working in different areas in the NHS. These include: Respiratory, Rheumatology, Musculoskeletal and Community Rehabilitation. Louis then attained a senior position in the NHS in a Musculoskeletal team.
Louis left the NHS in 2017 to gain further experience by working for a private occupational health company where his aim and focus was to rehabilitate people to allow them to safely and effectively stay in work or aim to return to work.
Louis is highly skilled in several MSK schools of manual therapy from his time under Maitland practitioners within Yorkshire. He believes having a combined approach of both exercise and manual therapy in his sessions achieve the best outcomes.
Senior MSK Physio - Patryk Rojewski - PH114825
Patryk is a Chartered Physiotherapist who was born in Poland. He completed his education
in 2006 at a university in his home town Walbrzych with first-class honours in Physiotherapy.
He moved to the UK in 2008 in order to pursue his Physiotherapy career.
Patryk's main focus is providing client focused Physiotherapy treatment emphasising the
need for strengthening and movement in the management of acute and chronic pain. He has
a strong interest in strength and conditioning and its application in the Physiotherapy field.
Patryk likes to take a holistic approach to treat his patients as he understands both the physical and psychological impact of an injury or pathology on a patient's life.
His additional professional training includes the Mulligan concept course certification, the
NDT Bobath method and the stroke rehabilitation certification.
