About us

At Physio-Works we understand that life can be difficult when you are in pain or are unable to fulfil your usual daily activities. We understand that you want to be seen quickly and not hanging around for weeks waiting for the correct advice and treatment. We can help you to make a real difference to your condition and get you back to fitness as soon as is possible.

The physiotherapists at Physio-Works are all Chartered and Health Professions Council registered. This means that all physiotherapists are trained to degree standard and obliged to partake in continuous professional development.

All our physiotherapists are trained to recognise conditions that may require referral to another medical practitioner or for further investigations. We regularly liaise with clients' GP's and consultants and update them with progress made.

Areas of interest

Physio-Works is an established Physiotherapy Practice. We have been providing physiotherapy services to the people of Grimsby and surrounding areas for over 20 years and have built ourselves a reputation for providing quality, professional and friendly care to all our clients.
Our treatments include;
-Mobilisation and manipulation
This can be administered to the joints or soft tissues and is done by moving the body part.
-Exercises
For stretching, strengthening and stabilising, exercise is fundamental to all our treatments and we have a computer programme for patients to take home a record of their particular programme.
-Advice and Self management
Understanding how to best self manage your condition will enhance your speed of recovery.
-Massage
This involves mobilising and manipulating the body’s soft tissues.
-Electrotherapy
Treatments such as ultra-sound, interferential and TENS are used at Physio-Works, these will be used as an adjunct to the 'hands on' treatment.
