With over 30 years of clinical experience, Rodger Duckworth has established a highly skilled physiotherapy team supported by ongoing clinical teaching, mentoring and professional development. Our combined experience enables us to assess and manage a wide range of conditions, from acute injuries to persistent and complex presentations.

Our musculoskeletal physiotherapy team specialises in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of back and neck pain, spinal conditions, knee, hip, shoulder, foot and ankle problems, sports injuries, joint and muscle conditions, and acute and persistent pain. We also provide comprehensive post-operative rehabilitation, helping patients recover following orthopaedic and spinal surgery, including joint replacement and sports-related procedures.

Our approach is individual, patient-led and personalised. We combine a strong hands-on therapeutic approach with progressive exercise rehabilitation, mobility work, strength and conditioning, education and practical advice. Treatment plans are continually reviewed and adapted according to each patient's symptoms, progress, lifestyle and individual goals.

Whether the aim is to return to everyday activities, recover following surgery or injury, or return to sport and physical performance, our focus is on restoring movement and function, building confidence and supporting long-term physical health.

We also have expertise in headaches and migraines associated with neck and musculoskeletal dysfunction, jaw and TMJ problems, vestibular rehabilitation including the Epley manoeuvre, chronic and persistent pain, and complex presentations. Where assessment indicates that symptoms fall outside the scope of musculoskeletal physiotherapy, or require further investigation, imaging or specialist medical opinion, we will explain this clearly and recommend appropriate onward referral.

The practice also has experience in somatic and trauma-informed therapy, stress-related illness, craniosacral therapy, persistent pain and complex health presentations. Where appropriate, these approaches can form part of a broader, integrated and whole-person approach to care.
