With over 30 years of clinical experience Rodger has established our current highly-skilled multidisciplinary team with a close programme of teaching and mentoring. We invest in our team and their talent and dedication has paid dividends in the high levels of patient satisfaction year after year.
You know that no matter how complex or deeply worrying the problem is there is decades of expertise in this one setting.
Our dedicated musculo-skeletal Physio team specialise in acute injury diagnosis, effective pain-relief, full-body recovery, strength and conditioning after sports injury, and post-operative rehabilitation. The long-term objective is future injury prevention, returning to everyday activities pain-free or achieving performance goals.
Our approach has always been patient-led and personalised: Physiotherapy as individual as you are. This holistic view brings together a very strong hands-on therapeutic approach combined with up-to-date technical modalities. Your treatment plan will be devised for you personally and is constantly assessed and adjusted in accordance with your individual responses and recovery goals.
If the health concerns are beyond the realm of musculoskeletal physiotherapy, we also have the experience to identify those issues that require scans or further tests by a hospital consultant. We also have the expertise in-house for the Epley manoeuvre, somatic therapy, stress illness, (e.g. IBS, FND) chronic pain, trauma or complex health issues, (e.g. POTS, CFS and fibromyalgia), and craniosacral therapy. Other specialisms include: acupuncture, sports massage and psychotherapy.
Areas of interest
Our accomplished team of Physiotherapists treat: lower back pain, neck pain, repetitive strain injury, tennis elbow and hand injury. Hip, knee and ankle injury or pain. Stiffness and reduced mobility and arthritis. Sciatica, frozen shoulder, nerve impingement and referred pain. Muscle strains and ligament injuries, tendinopathy, hypermobility, and Osgood-Schlatters in adolescents.
We treat disorders of the lower leg and foot pain, for e.g. plantar fasciitis. We offer gait analysis for both the sports person and patients struggling with their mobility, either children with developmental issues or the older patient with weakness, pain or balance issues. Vestibular problems are another cause of instability and can be treated by the MSK team.
Our holistic approach ensures that the root cause of any problem is effectively diagnosed and addressed with an integrative treatment plan.
