About me

Mr Brian Musgrove was lead surgeon for the Department of Maxillofacial and Facial Plastic Surgery of the Central Manchester and Manchester Childrens University Hospitals from 1991 to 2013 specializing in facial reconstructive surgery and head and neck cancer treatment at the Manchester Royal Infirmary and the Christie Hospital.

During this time he taught, lectured both in the UK and internationally and has published on a wide range of facial surgery and head and neck surgery.

He has supported charities working working in sub saharan Africa, and has worked in Nigeria and Ethiopia treating children and young people suffering from facial disease and deformity.

Since 2013 he has specialised in Facial Plastic Surgery in the private sector in London. He has been one of the first surgeons in the UK to develop Facial Feminising Surgery and has 25 years experience in this field.
