About me
Philippa Last has been working as an osteopath for the last twenty two years since graduating from The British School of Osteopathy. Upon qualification, she embraced professional life wholeheartedly working in established practices in London and implemented a NHS osteopathic service in Dulwich locality based in three GP surgeries.
Following a seven year period building a practice in the Midlands, Philippa returned to London in November 2009, joining busy osteopathic practices in East Sheen and Victoria.
She has forged links with the British School of Osteopathy (now University College of Osteopathy), working as a clinic tutor for the last thirteen years, delivering tutorials, examining and supervising senior student practitioners whilst they assess and treat patients. Philippa completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Academic and Clinical Education in June 2015.
She has a broad range of interests including the treatment of work-related disorders and pregnancy related back pain. She has comprehensive diagnostic and technical skills and uses a wide range of treatment approaches including joint manipulation, articulation, deep soft tissue massage and muscle release work. Where appropriate, she also uses cranial osteopathic techniques and particularly enjoys her work with babies and young children.
