About me

I have worked for the NHS as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist/Neuropsychologist for just under 20 years, and have been working at Spire Leicester Hospital for 16 years. I have also held several academic positions at universities, and am also registered with a number of professional organisations. I am a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine, an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society and a Full Member of the Leicester Medical Society. I have a wide range of interests from sports (where I actively participated in several), photography, music & the arts including computerised applications in clinical work.

Areas of interest

Clinical Psychological/Neuropsychological Assessments of a wide range of Psychological, Neurodevelopmental, and Physical Illnesses with a Psychological basis; Clinical Neuropsychological assessments of Neurodevelopmental Disorders and Acquired Brain Injury, including ADHD, Dementia, Strokes, Head Injuries, Brain Tumours, etc; I have also led the development of a Dementia Screening Service at Spire Leicester Hospital, which is unique in the private health sector given the need for early detection and diagnosis of Dementia. I lead a multi-disciplinary team which includes other relevant health professionals, and we aim to offer quick appointments and a rapid turn-around time from neuropsychological screening to diagnosis and treatment of Dementia.
