About me

I have worked in the NHS for over twenty five years both in Primary and Secondary Care. I have also worked in the Private Sector. I have worked in an Eating Disorders Unit, a Unit for Personality Disorder, I have also worked as a counsellor in GP Practices, I have worked as a Senior Psychotherapist in Psychological Services. In my current role in the NHS I am a Clinical Service Manager for Quality and Governance with responsibility for the Counselling and Additional Modalities Pathway in Talking Therapies.
I have also lectured in Nursing and Counselling.
I am also a training supervisor in IPT.

I am particularly interested in how our relationships affect our mental health and how we can improve our mental health by forming healthier relationships.
