About me

I am a fully qualified Hypnotherapist, Psychotherapist, Counsellor and Life Coach. I have been in practice for over 25 years and so you can be confident that you are consulting a highly experienced professional. Through my career, I gained extensive experience in the field of mental health working within Social Services, National Health Service & voluntary sector.

Daytime and evening appointments are available Monday-Friday, so times can be agreed that are most convenient for you. We also provide Skype, ZOOM and telephone appointments on request.
Our office is located close to Salisbury train station & Salisbury city centre.
All our facilities are on the ground floor. The rooms are bright and airy. Waiting facilities are available.

The philosophy behind our approach is
Finding the root and therefore the solution
Accepting the past and moving on with your life
Empowering you to be who you want to be
Gaining freedom from destructive influences, patterns and emotions that have been holding you back
Realising your potential
Learning to respond to difficult situations, not react to them

In addition to my general psychotherapy & hypnotherapy practice, I am the founder and director of easibirthing Fertility to Parenthood. As part of easibirthing Fertility to Parenthood, I support women and their partners with Hypnosis and Psychotherapy for Fertility, Pregnancy, Childbirth, Post Natal Mental Health & Parenting Support.

The easibirthing hypnobirthing model had been specifically designed, in consultation with midwives, to reflect birthing methods in the UK.
I also teach professional courses for hypnotherapists, psychotherapists, counsellors and psychotherapeutic counsellors throughout the UK at live events and within the easibirthing and parenting ONLINE training school for any professionals working with or have an interest in working with parents or expectant parents to help restore and maintain positive mental and emotional health. The easibirthing model in fertility, childbirth & post natal mental health is accredited by the National College of Hypnosis Psychotherapy & Mindfulness nchp to train qualified Hypnotherapists and Hypnotists and throughout the world to specialise in these areas.

As an accredited member of the 'UK Council for Psychotherapy', a fellow of the National Society of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy, and the 'Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council', I am required to abide by their Code of Ethics and Practice. This includes undertaking regular supervision, having appropriate professional insurance and being committed to continued professional development. I am also registered with The United Kingdom Confederation of Hypnotherapy Organisations UKCHO. I am also a registered consultant for private health insurance clients.

I also have the UKCP 'child and adolescent proficiency marker' which accredits me for working with children and adolescents. From January 2012-July 2021 I managed the counselling service for Godolphin Boarding and day school for girls in Salisbury Wiltshire. I continue to see children and teenagers from age 8-18.

I became a fully qualified Life Coach in 2004. Being a therapist as well as a coach means that I already understand the underlying processes of interaction, human development and blocks to progress. In 2005 I undertook my advanced Hypnotherapist training S to the third power Hypnotherapy with UK Academy of Therapeutic Arts and Sciences, and also became a certified specialist in working with depression.

I am also an honourary fellow of the 'National Society for Hypnosis, Psychotherapy and Mindfulness'. In 2019 I became the first ever recipient of the 'Brookhouse and Biddle award for contribution to hypnosis and psychotherapy'. In addition I am the appointed practitioner for South Wiltshire and West Hampshire within the 'Brookhouse Hypnotherapy Group'.
