About me
I qualified as a chartered clinical psychologist in 1987 from Surrey University. I then did my cognitive behavioural therapy training in 1996 at Oxford university (the Warneford hospital).
I worked for over ten years in the NHS treating individuals, supervising other therapists and lecturing at Exeter university on anxiety and trauma.
After leaving the NHS I worked for two years with an organisational consultancy. I ran small groups in an organisational setting on stress management, conflict resolution and assertiveness.
I now work in private practice and have done so for the last 20 years. In that time I have also completed my training and am now accredited in EMDR therapy.
The individual therapy I offer integrates different psychological approaches and is tailored to suit the person's needs. . I work collaboratively in a pleasant, quiet setting, to achieve therapeutic goals.
