About me

I am a BACP registered Senior Accredited counsellor with over thirty years of experience. During this time I have worked with a number of agencies, Local Authorities, Health Services and clients coming through private referrals. I am registered with LINK, Barnardo's Adoption agency to work with adoptees, adopters and birth family members on a number of issues including loss and attachment.
My initial training was in Person Centred Counselling, however my work now is integratively, drawing on different approaches and techniques to best suit the client and at the pace that suits the individual. I have an MA in counselling studies from the University of East Anglia.
I work from my own confidential and relaxed counselling room in Little Clacton
