About me
Hello, my name is Sally Quill, I am a psychotherapist and personal coach working with adults and with groups.
What is psychotherapy?
Psychotherapy helps us to explore our present life and make changes that are deep and long lasting. There is a dual focus which looks both at our current situation and also any past circumstances that may be connected with it, it is then possible to identify repeated patterns and ways of thinking that take over our life, even when we don’t want them to. This heightened understanding helps make it possible to become aware of these patterns and make different choices.
Psychotherapy provides a structured space where you can explore difficult and often painful emotions and experiences. With individual therapy you can talk through these emotions and experiences, exploring your feelings, thoughts and behaviour and relevant aspects of your personal history in order to gain understanding and resolution. The sessions provide an opportunity to explore recurring patterns of behaviour in your life with the potential to do things differently.
I trained at The Northern Guild for Psychotherapy. I have also trained in couples work and group work. I co-founded The Centre for Relationships, writing and delivering workshops on Relationships and Personal Development.
