About me

Nona is a state registered dietitian with the British Dietetic Association and the Health and Care Professions Council
She qualified as a medical physician in the Former Soviet Union and then retrained and qualified in 1997 from the University of North London with a BSc Hons in Nutrition and Dietetics.
She has a strong working relationship with gastroenterologists, gynaecologists, cardiologists, endocrinologists, care of the elderly and ITU consultants through her work at both the Clementine Churchill and The Hendon Hospitals since 2002. She is active member of a multidisciplinary team looking after bariatric surgical patients. She gives Educational Talks to public at the JW3, Benenden/Nuffield and CCH.
Nona is actively involved in interest groups such as nutrition support, obesity/bariatric surgery, coronary heart disease, diabetes, gastroenterology and ITU. She has produced a number of dietetic resources for Northwick Park /Benenden Hospital and The BDA on subjects such as cardio-protective diet, weight reducing, diabetic; post bariatric (LRD, Gastric band, Sleeve gastrectomy, RYGB), low fibre, wind & bloating for IBS, low potassium diet, clean diet, healthy balance diet for vegetarians etc .
Nona maintains and continues to update her knowledge and expertise in dietetics through regular workshops, study days and courses to ensure that her services are always of a high standard. She completed a low FODMAP training at Kings College 2012/ FODMAP update 2015 has been training other dietitians on how to use and implement the low FODMAP diets at NWLH.
She provides outpatient and inpatient services for both adult and paediatric patients over the age of 10 at the Clementine Churchill Hospital, Hendon Hospital NW4 and JDOC Wellington Diagnostics at the 296 Golders green NW11 9PY.

I provide dietary assessment and advice for a full range of conditions including:
• Newly diagnosed or poorly controlled diabetes, coronary artery disease and also lipid disorders,
• Disease related malnutrition, NG/PEG/RIG feeding and IVN
• Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), obesity, patients who wants to be considered for bariatric (metabolic) surgery.
• Gastro-intestinal disorders including Coeliac disease, Non coeliac Gluten sensitivity,
Irritable Bowel Syndrome (including the Low FODMAP diet), SIBO,
Crohn’s (including for polymeric or elemental or low fibre or
(low FODMAP diet), Ulcerative colitis, constipation.

• Anaemia,
• Renal disease, liver disease,
• Food intolerances, allergies
• Healthy eating,
• Modified consistency
• Osteoporosis diets.
• Vitamin B12, Selenium, Zink and Vitamin D deficiency .
