About me

I am a Clinical Psychologist and a Psychoanalyst, trained at the Institute of Psychoanalysis, London. I have over thirty years professional experience, which has included working extensively both within the NHS and the private sector. This experience includes working within multidisciplinary teams; providing consultations to assess the full range of psychological and emotional difficulties; offering short and longer term individual, couple and group therapy, supervising and teaching of Clinical Psychologists, Psychotherapists, Counsellors, Psychiatrists and other mental health and perinatal professionals.

In my private practice, I offer psychological consultations, short, medium and longer term individual Psychotherapy and more intensive Psychoanalysis. I also offer couple therapy.

I am a Clinical Director of Facing Parenthood, the first London based Independent Service, to offer specialist psychological help to individuals and couples with emotional difficulties emerging at different stages of parenthood, from planning to have a baby, pregnancy and birth, to the experience of children leaving home, parenting adults and becoming a grand parent.

I am an Associate fellow of the British Psychological Society and a member of the British Psychoanalytical Society, the International Psychoanalytical Association and the Association of Infant Mental Health.
