About me
Martin Sparkes qualified in 1985 after completeing a 4 year full time course at the British School of Osteopathy in London.He set up his own practice, working alongside other complementary practitioners in 1985,which makes him one of Baths longest serving and established Osteopaths.
Between 1999 and 2001 he worked voluntarily in the Pain Clinic at Baths Royal United Hospital,working alongside the team of Consultant Anaesthetists treating chronic pain.He was one of the first osteopaths in the country to hold such a positon.In 1992 he became the first osteopath in Bath to work from a GP surgery.He has worked in the Pulteney Street Surgery since 1995.
He has been the Official and match day Osteopath to Bath Rugby since 2006 and works at their training ground at Farleigh Hungerford with the Clubs Medical Team..
He is Registered with the General Osteopathic Council,The Institute of Osteopathy and a Member of the Western Society of Osteopaths.
