About me
I originate from Cape Town, South Africa where I did my Clinical Psychology training, and came to the UK in 1980. I was liable for miitary service there and left as a matter of conscience. I worked in the NHS since 1981 until 2013.
During that time I held a Consultant's post and had a widely varied career, viz Children & Adolescents, Learning Disabilities, Adult Primary Care and Adult Secondary Care.
I trained as Family Therapist at the Institute of Family Therapy (London), completing this in 1990. I have also recently completed Training in EMDR and am accordingly registered in this profession.
I started a Private Practice in 1989 and this continues successfully up to the present time
