About me

The therapeutic relationship is built on trust and discretion, offering a secure, impartial environment where clients are heard without prejudice.

My objective is to create a safe space for you to delve into your thoughts and feelings, offering guidance when you're uncertain about your life's direction. My approach to counselling is characterised by openness to your unique experiences, with the intention of helping you better understand your challenges and partnering with you in your pursuit of self-awareness, personal development, and wellbeing.

I use an integrative approach with clients, drawing on person-centred, psychodynamic, and transpersonal models. This approach supports you in exploring your current experiences and how your past influences your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. When suitable, I incorporate transpersonal elements, encouraging you to investigate deeper aspects of your selfhood, identity, and existence.

I have successfully worked with clients dealing with a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, bereavement, life changes, self-esteem, and self-worth. Additionally, I handle existential issues like loss of purpose or direction, relationship difficulties, co-dependency, and stress. As a trauma-informed counsellor, I have experience working with Complex PTSD and issues related to sexuality and concerns unique to the LGBTQ+ community.
