About me
I am an experienced counsellor working with adults online and face?to?face, with over 1500 clinical hours and full adherence to BACP Ethical Guidelines. I work with clients affected by overwhelming or distressing experiences, including domestic abuse, coercive control, trauma bonding, repeating relationship cycles, anxiety and depression.
My own lived experience has deepened my understanding of toxic relationship cycles and why they can feel so difficult to break. Many clients come to therapy feeling confused or stuck in painful dynamics; I offer a steady, supportive space where feeling understood becomes the first step toward recovery.
I use an integrated approach drawing on Person?Centred Therapy and CBT?informed strategies. Sessions are paced carefully around emotional overwhelm, hypervigilance, dissociation and low self?esteem, and always grounded in emotional safety, stabilisation and clear contracting. I work within best?practice risk assessment and signposting protocols.
Alongside my client work, I provide clinical supervision using the Seven?Eyed Model and Proctor's Model to support reflective, ethical practice.
