About me
I am a Chartered Counselling Psychologist with extensive experience across NHS mental health services, the charity sector, and private practice. I work with individuals, couples, and groups presenting with anxiety disorders, grief, bereavement, trauma-related difficulties, identity concerns, and relational challenges.
My primary therapeutic approach is existential, informed by relational and phenomenological principles. Clinically, this means I support clients to explore their lived experience, emotional processes, and patterns of relating, with attention to how these shape wellbeing and functioning. I work collaboratively to help clients understand the factors contributing to their distress, develop insight, and move toward more flexible and meaningful ways of engaging with themselves and others.
I have experience working with a wide range of psychological presentations, including generalised anxiety, social anxiety, low mood, adjustment difficulties, trauma responses, and interpersonal conflict. I also work with clients experiencing disconnection, loss of meaning, and transitions across life stages.
Clients often report feeling safe, understood, and appropriately challenged in our sessions. I aim to provide a reflective, non?judgmental therapeutic space where difficulties can be explored at a pace that feels manageable, while supporting movement toward improved emotional resilience, relational clarity, and psychological wellbeing.
