About me

Mr Haider Zaki graduated from the University of Baghdad in 2009 and trained in Ophthalmology in Iraq and the UK. He completed his Membership exams with the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh in 2016 and his Fellowship exams with the Royal College of Ophthalmologists in London in 2021. He holds a Master's degree with distinction in Ophthalmology from the University of Manchester, completed in 2017, and finished his training at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield. Mr Zaki is currently a substantive consultant ophthalmologist at The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust and he is an honorary lecturer at the University of Sheffield and a faculty member / cataract surgery trainer and examiner at the Royal College of Ophthalmologists.

Areas of interest

Mr Zaki specialises in eyelid surgery (including blepharoplasty, droopy eyelids, eye brow, eyelid Entropion & Ectropion correction), reconstructive surgery and cancer removal around the eyelids, facial palsy, watery eyes, and Botox injections. He also carries out cataract surgeries, ranging from routine to complex cases.
