About me

I am a Consultant Neurologist, with 18 years experience, specialising in movement disorders, including Parkinson's disease, tremor, dystonia and related neurological conditions. I also see patients with a wide range of general neurological problems, and have particular interests in headache disorders, epilepsy, neuropathy and neuroinflammatory conditions. I have specialist expertise in botulinum toxin injections for dystonia and other movement disorders, as well as advanced treatments for Parkinson's disease, including deep brain stimulation and infusion therapies.

My approach is careful, thorough and patient-centred. I aim to give patients a clear explanation of their symptoms, diagnosis and treatment options, and to support them in making informed decisions about their care. I understand that neurological symptoms can be worrying and often affect many aspects of daily life, so I place particular importance on listening carefully and tailoring treatment to each individual.

I completed my medical training at the Medical University of Warsaw and later undertook a DPhil at the University of Oxford, where my research focused on brain imaging in Parkinson's disease. I now work as a Consultant Neurologist in the North Bristol Trust, where I run specialist clinics for movement disorders, advanced Parkinson's therapies, botulinum toxin treatment and general neurology.
