About me

Karl Pang is a Consultant Urologist and Andrologist at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in London, where he serves as Clinical Lead for Male Infertility. He is also an Honorary Associate Professor in the Division of Surgery and Interventional Science at University College London.

Mr Pang graduated in Medicine from the UK (University of Glasgow), having previously completed an intercalated BSc in Immunobiology at King's College London. He went on to undertake an MSc (Distinction) in Medical Research and a PhD in Prostate Cancer Epigenetics at the University of Sheffield. His specialist Urology training was completed in Yorkshire, followed by a Clinical Andrology fellowship at the renowned Institute of Andrology, University College London Hospital. In 2023, Mr Pang was appointed Clinical Assistant Professor of Urology at the University of Hong Kong and Queen Mary Hospital, and returned to London in 2024. He holds fellowship qualifications from the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS Urol) and the European Board of Urology (FEBU).

Mr Pang is Chief Editor of three textbooks�Basic Urological Sciences, Challenging Cases in Urological Surgery, and Clinical Andrology�and has authored over 125 peer-reviewed publications. He has presented widely at International conferences, received multiple European Association of Urology (EAU) awards, and secured over �250,000 in research funding.

Mr Pang is actively involved in education, supervising medical students, surgical trainees and postgraduate (PhD) students, and he is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) and a Member of the Academy of Medical Educators (AoME).

His leadership roles include Senior Associate at the EAU Guidelines Office and a previous member of the EAU Young Academic Urologists' Sexual Medicine and Penile/Testis Cancer committees. He currently serves on the International Society for Sexual Medicine (ISSM) Young Researchers Board.

Mr Pang's clinical and research interests focus on men's sexual and reproductive health and genital oncology, combining expert clinical care with academic leadership to advance patient outcomes.
