About me

Mr Martin Klinke graduated from medical school in Frankfurt and received his master’s degree in Sports Medicine from the University of Nice.He completed his post graduate orthopaedic training in major teaching hospitals Germany and Paris, followed by a specialised foot and ankle fellowship at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore and subsequently in ankle centre in Switzerland where he gained excessive expertise in ankle replacements.
Mr Klinke was appointed Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Guy's and St Thomas' hospitals in 2002, and joined the LFAC in 2003 where he has been based full-time from 2008 until 2025.
He is now working exclusively at the Cleveland Clinic in London at the main hospital site and in the outpatient centre in the City of London.

Mr Klinke covers the whole spectrum of foot and ankle pathologies and due to his training has a special interest in sports related injuries. He is one of the leading foot and ankle surgeons in London and sees patients from the whole of the UK and internationally. Mr Klinke is passionate about helping his patients getting the best treatment. Due to his vast experience and his knowledge in sports medicine he will be able to avoid surgery whenever possible but if needed will provide a surgical solution that suits your needs best.
