About me

Change in life brings uncertainty, stress, trauma, anxiety, low mood, and many other emotions. I'm here to help you feel more like yourself again by cutting through the psychology jargon, and by being down-to-earth, neuro-affirming and compassionate. I'm a Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years experience working in specialist psychological services in the NHS using evidence-based therapy, including EMDR. I use my wealth of psychological knowledge and experience to work alongside you, taking time to listen and understand your difficulties so we can find a way forward together which offers you hope and joy.

I specialise in supporting people to manage difficult emotions when life gets tough and when change is hard. I have a particular specialism in supporting people with ME/CFS, Long COVID, long-term stress or burnout. My approach is tailored to each person and I use mainly Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in my work.

I've worked with hundreds of clients over the years. Clients know me as someone who is immediately approachable and genuine, a psychologist with warmth and compassion, who creates a sense of safety that lets people relax and feel understood.
