About me

I am passionate about supporting people to lead more fulfilling lives, free from the impact of common mental health difficulties or struggle with adjustment to life changes. Many individuals I work with feel overwhelmed; despite having insight into their challenges, they can find it hard to move forward and experience the quality of life they want. I offer a non-judgemental and supportive space to help clients better understand the psychological barriers they face and empower them to make meaningful, lasting change.

I have worked in mental health for over 21 years and have been practising as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist for more than 18 years. I work with a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, low mood, PTSD, phobias, chronic health conditions and sleep problems.

I also support individuals across different life stages- including, bereavement, long term interpersonal struggles and at times of significant life transition.

I prioritise building a trusting and empathetic therapeutic relationship, working collaboratively with clients using evidence-based approaches. Together, we explore the factors maintaining current difficulties and develop strategies to overcome them, while strengthening resilience and supporting long-term wellbeing.

Areas of interest

PTSD; Chronic illness; pain; adjustment to life changes/struggles; depression; anxiety; worry; sleep; insecure attachment; phobias.
