About me

I qualified as an orthopaedic surgeon in 1996. I did my medical training in Rotterdam and my specialist training in Antwerp and Melbourne.

I have a special interest in minimally invasive uni-compartmental knee replacements and ligament reconstruction surgery as well as acute suturing of anterior cruciate ligaments.
I am an expert arthroscopic surgeon, performing meniscal and cartilage surgery, as well as cruciate ligament surgery.
I have a keen interest and expertise in total and partial knee replacements, as well as knee revisions.
I am one of the leading UK surgeons for the Ligamys ACL suturing system, which is an extremely promising technique for treatment of the acute ACL tear.
I have successfully treated many sports injuries, particularly around the knee.
I have a keen interest in trauma.
