About me

I am an accredited counsellor based in Birkenhead, Wirral, offering person-centred, CBT-informed, and EMDR therapy to adolescents and adults. I provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences at their own pace.

I have extensive experience working with neurodivergent teenagers and young adults, as well as supporting individuals navigating anxiety, low mood, trauma, identity difficulties, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I work with a wide range of presenting concerns including school-related difficulties, bullying, grief and loss, family breakdown, disordered eating, and self-harm. I also have experience supporting clients who have experienced emotional, physical, or sexual abuse.

My approach is flexible and collaborative, drawing on person-centred principles alongside CBT and EMDR where appropriate. I tailor my work to meet each individual's needs, supporting clients to develop greater understanding, emotional regulation, and resilience.

I have a strong interest in supporting clients who are neurodivergent or exploring diagnosis, and I work in a neuroaffirming way that recognises difference rather than deficit.

I offer both in-person and online sessions, with my practice based in Birkenhead.
