It is only recognised centre in Greater Manchester for obesity and metabolic surgery. It is also the 4th largest centre in the country for oesophago-gastric cancer surgery. Salford Royal is probably the safest hospital in the country because of excellent outcome and low mortality. Over the years I have undertaken many presentations in both National and International conferences such International federation for Obesity, International Gastric Cancer congress, European association of Endoscopic Surgeons, International society for Diseases of Oesophagus, Associations of UpperGI surgeons, Association of Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland and association of Laparoscopic Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland.
I have performed more than 1000 gall bladder procedures without any bile duct injury and negligible complications.
