About me

Life can feel overwhelming at times. You may feel anxious, emotionally drained or stuck in patterns that are no longer serving you. Whatever has brought you here, therapy can offer a safe space to make sense of your experiences and move forward with greater insight and new ways of coping. I am a warm and experienced Clinical Psychologist, with a particular interest in supporting adults who have experienced trauma and difficult life events. Trauma can shape the way you think, feel and relate to others- so I work gently and collaboratively, at a pace that feels manageable for you.

I also support a wide range of other mental health concerns and have extensive experience working with neurodevelopmental differences. I prioritise creating a therapeutic relationship that feels warm, respectful, and grounded in compassion- because feeling safe and understood is often the foundation for meaningful change.

My expertise is working with adults (18 years+) using evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT); Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT); Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT); and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. My clinical work is also informed by Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). I have completed additional training in adapting psychological therapies for neurodivergent adults; and tailor my approach, to meet individual needs. I also provide clinical supervision of psychological therapy to other practitioners.

Sessions are offered in person at The Greenbank Rooms, East Kilbride.

Areas of interest

Complex Trauma; Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD); Anxiety; Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD); Phobias; Hormone Transitions (e.g. Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder, Perimenopause, Menopause); and Neurodevelopmental Differences.
